Two caught with €1.5m drugs

TWO men were caught red-handed yesterday with a massive haul of drugs worth €1.5m.

They were arrested at a house in Bettystown, Co Meath, by members of the Garda National Drugs Unit.

The gardai swooped at about 2.30pm catching the men, aged 47 and 39, with the haul of herbal cannabis.

The men, both Irish, are being held at Kells garda station under the Drug Trafficking Act.
