'True Blue' family beat 600 others to sponsor Leinster for a day
It's not every day you get to see your business' logo on the Leinster jersey, but True Blue supporters Gahan Meats enjoyed the opportunity of a lifetime when they beat more than 600 other entries to sponsor Leinster for a day.
The family-run company based in Dublin were the lucky winners to have their company logo emblazoned on the Leinster jersey, signage at the RDS and an ad in the programme for Friday night's game against Ospreys.
The Gahens were chosen to be part of the top five by Bank of Ireland's judging panel and then won by a public vote, as supporting by Bank of Ireland and Independent.ie
"The standards were very high, we had more than 600 applicants," Mark Cunningham, Bank of Ireland's Director of Business Banking explained.
"One of the areas we were looking for was a long-term association with Leinster and two, was to ascertain how the business was going to capitalise on this wonderful opportunity to get their and see how they can build on that for their own business."
