Truck veers out of control in town centre

An out-of-control truck has caused damage to a number of vehicles in Dingle town centre.

Residents in the Kerry town were left aghast as the driver of the truck appeared to lose control on Green Street.

The street, which is located on a hill, was lined with parked cars at the time of the accident.

The truck hit of a number of these vehicles as it made its way down the street.

It came to a stop at the T-junction where The Woolen Store is located.

Emergency services including an ambulance and fire brigade have responded to the scene.

A Dublin fireman, with connections in the area, was also at hand.

There have been no reports of serious injury or fatalities as a result of the incident.
