A truck smashed through a level crossing in Longford yesterday, leading to delays for passenger of Irish Rail.
Iarnrois Eireann posted video of the incident to their Twitter page.
It shows a white truck trying to race through the junction on the Ballymahon Road near Edgeworthstown before the barrier comes down.
The truck then smashes through the barrier, causing damage that has lead to delays to the train service.
Services to Sligo were delayed by 20 minutes. Irish Rail also confirmed that details of the incident had been passed to Gardai.
Only last week, there were delays to DART services after a similar incident in south Dublin.
