TRAFFIC restrictions will remain in place today to accommodate the huge crowds expected at the funeral of sporting legend Paidi O Se.
Gardai will have diversions in place from early morning and delays are expected.
A one-way system will operate from Sears's Cross in Ventry and traffic will be diverted back to Dingle via Clasach Mam next to the O Se family home in Ard a Bhothair.
Paidi's home club, An Gaeltacht, will provide a shuttle bus service between Naomh Caitriona church and Ventry graveyard following today's funeral Mass at 12pm. Subject to weather conditions, an on-foot procession will follow his coffin to the graveyard.
A park-and-ride facility will also be in operation from the marina car park in Dingle to Ventry church, and mourners are asked to use this service if at all possible.
Parking is restricted in Ventry village and particularly near the graveyard.
Those travelling to the funeral are asked to allow extra time to get there.
Today's Mass will be celebrated in Irish and Paidi's teammates from Kerry's golden era of football will provide the guard of honour.
