Traffic heavy across Dublin this morning following spate of collisions

Motorists and commuters are experiencing delays across Dublin this morning.
An incident occurred this morning shortly before 6am at Ellis Quay by James Joyce Bridge.

The crash has since been cleared but traffic remains heavy at Wolfe Tone Quay.
There are reports of a collision southbound on Belgard Road at the Embankment Road junction. The left lane is blocked and there are delays on approach.
Traffic is heavy on the Swords Road following a collision just before Collins Avenue. It has now been moved to the bus lane but motorists are being advised to expect delays.
Furthermore, a breakdown on the M50 northbound is affecting traffic off the ramp to the N7 Naas Road.
Meanwhile, gardaí are urging drivers to take care on the roads due to widespread frost.
Motorists are being warned to slow down and take extra time to reach their destination.
Met Éireann has issued a status yellow warning as temperatures will fall to between -2 and -4 degrees.
The warning is in place until 10am today but temperatures are expected to drop again tonight to -5 degrees.
Today will be dry with sunny spells in many areas.
However, fog may linger in places.
