THE Irish Independent's farming reporter Caitriona Murphy has scooped a prestigious prize at an awards ceremony in Argentina.
Her series of articles – 'The fear that stalks our farms', published in the Irish Independent – won second place in the the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists's Star Prize for print journalism.
The series has already earned her the Agricultural Journalist of the Year prize from the Guild of Agricultural Journalists in Ireland.
