MICHAEL Jackson fans will be given a sneak preview of the surroundings the tragic pop star had planned to live in during his comeback tour.
Furniture custom-made for the king of pop's London home goes on display today ahead of its sale at auction.
The 22 pieces of furniture include a gilded, red-velvet sofa and a leopard-print chair trimmed with ostrich feathers.
Jackson planned to use the furnishings during his 'This Is It' comeback concert run in London.
It took seven days to ship the unique pieces from the renowned Colombostile Furniture Company in Italy to the Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons in Co Kildare.
Two 40ft containers carried the 17 items overseas for the world-exclusive showing.
Model Martha Christie (above) posed yesterday with an authentic Michael Jackson Fedora hat on custom-designed Colombostile furniture ahead of the exhibition's opening. It will be on view until March 30.
