Hi °C | Lo °C THREE shotguns and ammunition have been discovered hidden at a primary school.
Gardai recovered the firearms during a search of the school on Basin Lane in Dublin's south side today.
The guns, which had been wrapped in plastic, were found on the roof of the building at around 11.30am.
Gardai carried out the search following reports of suspicious activity around the school over recent days.
The area was sealed off for a forensic technical examination.
Gardai in Kilmainham have appealed for information.
