Three men to appear in court charged in connection with seizure of cannabis worth €225,000

Three men are scheduled to appear in court tomorrow at 10.30am charged in connection with the seizure of cannabis worth €225,000.

The men have been detained in relation to the seizure of cannabis herb at a house in Oldchurch Avenue yesterday.

They will appear before Court No.1 at Blanchardstown District Court in Dublin.

One woman had been detained by gardai but she was released without charge this evening and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

As part of a planned operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the West Dublin area gardai raided the house in Clondalkin at around 7.45pm yesterday.

Cannabis herb (pending analysis) with an estimated street value of up to €225,000 was seized along with drug paraphernalia and a number of mobile phones.

Then men and woman were detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Ballyfermot (woman and man) and Clondalkin (two men) Garda Stations.
