Three men released without charge in connection with post office robbery

Three men - arrested in connection with an investigation into a post office robbery - have been released without charge.
Two masked men, one believed to be armed with a firearm, entered the post office in Strokestown at around 9.30am on Tuesday.
They threatened staff and customers and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
They made their escape in a silver Volvo car in the direction of Longford town but they later crashed on the road between Ballymahon and Lanesborough.
Two men, both in their twenties, were arrested at the scene. A third man (26) was later arrested.
Files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
