Three men held after almost €100k worth of drugs seized in separate raids

€50,000 worth of cocaine has been seized by gardai in Drogheda, Co Louth.

Officers from the Divisional Drug Unit took part in the operation.  A

A small quantity of 9mm ammunition was also recovered the search a car at Donore Rd, in the town at around 6pm last night.

A man in his early 40's was arrested at the scene.

Separately, two men were arrested at an address in Abbeyshrule, Co. Longford after gardai seized 55 cannabis plants and a quantity of cannabis herb with an estimated value of €45,000.
