Three men charged over Easter rally

Several hundred people attended the Easter commemoration event on April 9 last year

Three men have been charged by detectives investigating a dissident republican rally at a Londonderry cemetery.

Several hundred people attended the Easter commemoration event on April 9 last year during which a masked man read out a statement purportedly from the Real IRA threatening to attack police.

The men - aged 50, 42 and 27 - have been charged with assisting in arranging a meeting addressed by member of a proscribed organisation.

All three are expected to appear before Derry Magistrates' Court.
