Three men arrested after shots fired at house

Gardaí have arrested three people after shots were fired at a house in Co Louth last night.

Two men in their 30s and a male in his late teens were arrested in a follow up operation.

The incident occurred at a house at Beechwood Drive in Drogheda.

There were no injuries in the incident but it is understood that a window in the house was damaged.

RTE News reports that a woman and her 12-year-old grandson escaped the house unharmed.

An investigation is now underway.

The men are being questioned in Drogheda garda station.
