'This cut will leave us homeless'

"WE'll be homeless if the children's allowance is cut – unless our landlord drops the rent," said mother-of-three Tanya Quinn (23).
She joined parents in Dundalk who were protesting against the cut.
"We can manage at the moment because of the allowance but we are in rented accommodation and can't expect the landlord to drop the rent. My partner is coming home with less than the minimum wage." She lives with her partner and has twins Alex and Justin (4), pictured with Lorraine Sloan, and daughter Sintija (1).
More than 100 people an hour signed a petition calling for the allowance to be untouched in the Budget.
