Retired senior official of Department of Finance, where he was involved in policy on health and social welfare. Former member of the Pensions Board.
- Prof P Anne Scott
Professor of nursing and deputy president of Dublin City University. Former member of board of the Health Research Board and board of governors of St Vincent's Hospital, Fairview.
- Prof Niamh Brennan
Chartered accountant and chartered director. Academic director of the Centre for Corporate Governance at UCD. Chaired the Commission on Financial Management and Control Systems in the Health Service and chairs Dublin Docklands Development Authority.
- Dr Dermot Power
Consultant in geriatric medicine at the Mater and medical director of St Mary's Hospital, Phoenix Park. Member of the British Geriatrics Society.
- Sylda Langford
Former director-general of Office of the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs. Prior to this, she was an assistant secretary-general in Department of Justice and Law Reform. Chair of the Citizen's Information Board.
- Joe Lavelle
Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ireland). Has more than 10 years advisory experience in audit, risk assessment, company law and corporate governance. Currently a manager with Deloitte.
- John Fitzgerald
Former Dublin city manager. Most of career in local government. Currently chairman of An Post, the Grangegorman Development Agency and the two Regeneration Agencies set up in Limerick.
- Nuala Hunt
A chartered accountant, chartered secretary and tax consultant. Former governor of National Maternity Hospital. Was a member of the Expert Group on Resource Allocation and Financing in the Health Sector.
