The facts about Ireland's new field of dreams

Cost: €410m, including €191m of government funding. The project was completed on time and slightly under budget.

Capacity: 50,000 all seated.

Corporate boxes: 36 (seating for 850 people)

Wheelchair spaces: 230 throughout all levels of the stadium.

Size: 47.65 metres above pitch; 189.9 metres north to south; 203 metres east to west.

DURATION: Length of time from start to completion -- 35 months, from May 2007 to April 2010.

Facilities: Three restaurants, 69 kiosks/bars, 660 metres of beer lines.

Security: 150 CCTV cameras, 400 TVs, 1,150 fire alarms.

Design: Designed by Populus, who worked with Dublin-based architects ScottTallon Walker. Populus was involved in the design of the Sydney Olympic Stadium and Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.
