The best of the best of Irish

Singer-songwriter Julie Feeney will perform in a number of cities. 'Knuckle', a documentary about traveller bare-knuckle boxing will compete at the Sundance Film Festival, while Irish film festivals are due to be held in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, San Francisco and Seattle. 'The Cripple of Inishmaan' will be presented by Druid Theatre Company in eight cities. The Abbey Theatre will present Mark O'Rowe's 'Terminus' at various venues. World premiere of Gerald Barry's opera 'The Importance of Being Earnest' with the LA Philharmonic. Writers including Colum McCann, Anne Enright, Colm Toibin, and Peter Murphy will read at events. Irish Modern Dance Theatre present a work made with torture survivors in New York.
