Temperatures set to soar to 20 degrees on Friday
While today may have been a little patchy weather-wise, the outlook is a lot brighter for the end of the week.
Met Eireann has said Ireland "may be lucky enough" to experience a scorcher on Friday.
Temperatures are forecasted to reach the mid to high teens.
A forecaster told independent.ie: "There's a very weak front off the west coast and tomorrow that's going to push eastwards."
"It'll be a cloudy day tomorrow with patchy, light rain and drizzle. The best of the sunshine will be in the south and south east."
Thursday and Friday will bring dry, mild and warm conditions, the forecaster said.
"Thursday and Friday will be the best days. High pressure will build over the country, and if we're lucky, we might even squeeze a 20 [degrees] over the days."
