A teenage girl has been seriously assaulted at a house in east Belfast, police have said.

The victim was attacked at a house in the Templemore Avenue area some time between 8pm on Thursday and 8am on Friday morning.

Detectives are keen to speak to a taxi driver who brought a young woman and a man from High Street in Belfast city centre to Templemore Avenue on Thursday evening.

They would also like to identify two women who met the victim early on Friday morning and ordered her a taxi or contacted police.
