A 15-year-old boy who is the chief suspect for a fatal Halloween stabbing presented himself to gardaí for questioning but will have to wait until another day before he is quizzed.
Lorcan Rooney-O'Reilly was murdered on November 1 after being attacked in Dublin.
The 21-year-old, from Robert Emmet Close in the city centre, was stabbed in the heart as he tried to stop a row at a bonfire at a nearby flats complex.
The teenage chief suspect vanished after the killing and was believed to have fled to Britain.
He presented himself to gardaí for questioning at Kevin Street Garda Station with his grandparents in recent days.
However, officers declined to take a statement from the teenager as they intend to collect more evidence before questioning him about the murder.
Mr Rooney-O'Reilly will be buried on Wednesday after his funeral Mass at the Augustinian Church on John's Lane.
