Teen hospitalised after attack at Drake concert
A teenager was rushed to hospital and man was arrested following an alleged attack at Drake's Dublin gig on Monday night.
The 19-year-old, originally from Limerick, was taken to the Mater Hospital after the attack.
He was discharged with non-life threatening injuries.
Rapper Drake was playing at the 3Arena and there were a number of incidents at the event, which was described as a "messy night" by sources.
A spokesperson for the 3Arena confirmed that three people were detained by gardaí on the night - two for trying to gain entry to the venue without tickets.
"An Garda Siochana and Security personnel quickly dealt with a small number of incidents which resulted in a Belfast man being detained for an alleged assault on a Limerick man".
Over 25,000 people in total attended the performances.
There were nine gardai and three paramedics on duty both nights.
After his gig on Monday, Drake partied in Temple Bar until the early hours and posted pictures of him drinking Guinness and Jagermeister.
He played two sold-out concerts at the 3Arena.
