Team's win was a licence to thrill
THEY clinched their first Test series since 1997 and what better way to celebrate than with James Bond?
After defeating the Wallabies 41-16, the triumphant Lions continued the celebrations for more than an hour in their changing room.
And it was made all the more momentous with the involvement of Daniel Craig, who flew in from Los Angeles and touched down in Sydney the morning of the match.
The 007 star watched from the sidelines as they lifted the Tom Richards trophy, and was seen shaking the hands of scrum half Mike Phillips, as well as patting try scorer Jonathan Sexton on the back.
Craig then followed the team into the changing room with bottles of champagne to further toast the victory.
