TAOISEACH Enda Kenny has dismissed calls for tomorrow's children's referendum to be postponed.
Mr Kenny this afternoon made his first comments since yesterday's Supreme Court ruling that some of the information published by the Government about the poll was not "fair, equal and impartial".
It has led to calls for the referendum should be postponed, but Mr Kenny said this would cause a general election.
"It's perfectly clear legally that were you to try to do that you'd have to call a general election," Mr Kenny said.
He also denied the Supreme Court decision would have an effect on the Yes vote, and called for people to support the constitutional amendment tomorrow.
