Supporters' club to get behind boys in green at Euro finals
At least 200 members of London's Republic of Ireland supporters' club are getting ready to jet off to Poland for this summer's European Championships.
Next Friday in the Crown Moran Hotel in Cricklewood, the club, which has over 500 members, holds its last meeting before the finals and the group's secretary Martin Prendergast says the excitement levels are building.
"It seems real now, especially since the squad has been announced. There's a great buzz amongst the members and we just want to get out there now to cheer on the boys."
Most of the members travelling will stay in Poland for the three group games and hope, if results go our way, to hang on for the latter stages also.
