Support escorted to match by police

IRISH fans were escorted to the Puskas Stadium in Budapest last night by police.

Not their fault or anything, it just seems the police are worried because there were a couple of protests in the Hungarian capital yesterday.

After days of glorious sun, the heavens opened up yesterday evening for thunder and a torrential downpour just before the match.

The Hungarian weather shouldn't bother too many fans much longer, since most are leaving Budapest this morning before the weekend advance on Poznan.
