Supergran Kay (74) a marathon marvel
SHE is 74, from Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, and this morning Catherine 'Kay' O'Regan can look back with pride on completing her 100th marathon.
She ran yesterday's Dublin Marathon in an impressive four hours and 25 minutes and was full of energy after crossing the finish line.
As this remarkable grandmother waited for her husband Joe and son Fintan to finish, she said: "I feel great. This one was very special. I just love running."
More than 10,000 took to the streets early yesterday and ran for fun or to raise money for charities and causes such as cancer research, meningitis, Down Syndrome and dementia.
