Winds of up to 80km/h and heavy rain are expected over the next couple of days as Ireland is to receive the tail end of Storm Doris.
Met Éireann this morning issued a yellow status weather warning which is to stay in place until Thursday.

"Severe winds and heavy rain, with snow on northern hills" is on the cards, particularly for northern and eastern areas.
While today will remain largely clear and dry, the weather will take a turn for the worse tonight as Ireland gets a taste of the heavy rain to come.
However, temperatures will remain high, reaching up to 13 degrees in some places.
Meanwhile, across the water, the UK Met Office has dubbed Thursday 'Doris Day'.
They have been sending out alerts warning of potential damage to buildings, power cuts and travel chaos.
