Stop senseless killings, begs dad

The father of a student who died after an unprovoked late-night assault has begged young people to end the "senseless carnage" that is becoming common on our streets.

Andrew Dolan's father, Joe, said his son's death was yet another example of random mindless violence. "How many more innocent young people must die or suffer life-changing injuries before someone cries stop?" he said.
