Some €195,000 won on last Saturday's Winning Streak game show

It will certainly be a Merry Christmas for last Saturday's six Winning Streak players who won a cool €195,000 between them.

The game show, presented by Marty Whelan and Sinead Kennedy, is now half way through its 25th series.

Players from Limerick, Dublin, Kerry and  Kilkenny battled it out to spin the wheel, winning cash and various prizes in the process.

Their winnings totalled €188,000.

Fiona Cannon from Dublin was the biggest winner on Saturday night, pocketing €70,000 in winnings.

Winning Streak scratch cards offer players the chance to win a car worth €20,000 or a cash prize up to €10,000.

Players must collect the letters C, A and R from the stub section of the scratch card.

This week's winner of Car or Cash was Mary Kelly from Meath who won €7,000.

Winning Streak is Europe's 2nd longest running TV game show after Channel Four's Countdown.
