Sky Ride rules Dublin streets

DUBLIN city is bracing itself for traffic disruption tomorrow as an event to promote cycling will close a number of streets between 10am and 4pm.

An 8km stretch of road between Upper Fitzwilliam Street and Custom House Quay has been marked as car free for the Sky Ride event. The roads will be marked with traffic cones, patrolled by volunteer stewards and minimal disturbance is expected.

Free entertainment has been organised for all ages.
