Six of the seven people arrested yesterday as part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged systematic serious sexual assault of a young girl have been released without charge.
One woman remains in custody in Sundrive Road garda station in Dublin.
The arrests occurred early yesterday morning in Dublin and Wexford.
Those arrested were two women aged in their 40s, and five men ranging in ages from 19 years to 47 years.
They were detained in a number of stations in the south Dublin area, under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act.
But six were released in the early hours of this morning with files being prepared for the DPP.
