IT'S difficult to smile when your flight to Lanzarote has been cancelled -- but little Jade Gill still managed a smile at Dublin airport yesterday.
The six-year-old from Naas, Co Kildare, was one of thousands of air passengers who experienced massive disruption as a result of the volcanic ash cloud sweeping across Europe from Iceland.
More than 17,000 flights across Europe were grounded yesterday in what has become the biggest disruption to air travel since 9/11.
