Singers brave snow -- and melt hearts
Out on the streets of Dublin, singers battled the wintry conditions yesterday to launch the annual 'Sing for Simon' homeless charity campaign.
And, in a hospital for ill children, finalists from 'The X Factor' performed a special show to lift the spirits of some and to thank others -- students from Tipperary -- who had raised the most money in a charity initiative.
Amongst the singers with Belle Amie at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin yesterday was Rebecca Creighton from Tallaght.
Meanwhile, on Grafton Street, the Christmas favourite, 'Fairytale of New York' was blasted out to help launch the campaign for the Simon Community, which will be carried on megascreens from ZozzyTV over the festive period.
