SINGER Daniel O'Donnell has gone back to school again to learn Spanish, but admits he keeps getting the language mixed up with Irish.
The Donegal man spent last summer learning his native tongue in the Gaeltacht. But this year he is spending the summer months in the sunnier climes of Tenerife where he has a home with wife Majella.
"I have some time off so I decided to try to learn some Spanish this year," said the country music star.
"So here I am at 51, I go off every morning with my school bag and spend a part of my evening doing homework.
"But sometimes in the Spanish class when I think I'm in full flow, an Irish word pops into the sentence," he added.
