DETERMINED members of the Kenyan Boys Choir refused to let the flights ban deter them from keeping their date at the National Concert Hall last night.
The 40-member choir -- ranging in age from 16 to 28 -- spent a gruelling 18 hours travelling overnight from Inverness to Belfast and down to Dublin.
But according to choir leader and BBC journalist Dayo Yusef, (28), it was worth the trip.
"We were really, really looking forward to coming to Dublin. We hear it is a beautiful city and we are going to see just how beautiful it is," he said.
