Seven units of fire brigade battle 'very serious' blaze at golf club

DUBLIN Fire Brigade battled a large fire at a golf club in Dublin overnight.

Emergency services were called to a blaze at Hazel Grove Golf Club at Kiltalown, Tallaght.

Seven units from Dublin Fire Brigade rushed to the scene to battle the blaze.

A spokesman for the fire service described the blaze as “very serious”.

A spokesperson for the Dublin Fire Brigade told independent.ie that the fire was fully extinguished by 10.30pm last night.

“The building was well alight when our unit arrived. It was considerably damaged, but there were no injuries,” he said.
