Service to take place today to mark first anniversary of Karen Buckley's death

A memorial mass will take place in Cork today to mark the first anniversary of the death of Irish student Karen Buckley
Occupational therapy student Karen was brutally murdered in Glasgow on April 12, 2015, by Alexander Pacteau.
The mass, led by Fr. Joe O’Keeffe, will begin at 7.30pm at the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, in Analeentha, Mourneabbey.
A special memorial service was also held in Glasgow to mark the first anniversary of her death on Tuesday, when Karen's Glasgow Caledonian University friends and classmates paid tribute to her.
Pacteau was jailed for 23 years for murdering Karen.
