AS a serving senator, Ivor Callely receives a salary of €65,621.
The most recent figures show that he also claimed €77,773 in Seanad expenses between June 2007 and December 2008.
His register of interests shows he is letting a house at St David's Wood, Artane, Dublin 5. He also declares he is a co-owner and has an investment interest in a property at 59/60 Clontarf Road.
This is the site that Mr Callely, the late Galway-based developer John O'Dolan and two other investors acquired in January 2007 at a cost of €10m.
The co-investors had sought planning permission to demolish the existing houses on the sea front site next to St Anthony's Church in Clontarf and build 44 apartments and three shops on the site.
However, this plan was rejected by An Bord Pleanala in 2008 after being approved by Dublin City Council.
Last December, the project's lead financier Investec Bank -- which had provided €8m in loans -- appointed a receiver to the site.
