The body of a crew member of the Rescue 116 helicopter has been located in the aircraft's wreckage.

Investigators say they cannot confirm his identity at this stage. Senior gardaí and rescue workers added the two remaining missing crew members had not yet been located.

The body of Captain Dara Fitzpatrick was discovered the morning after the crash 12 days ago. The remaining three crewmen - Mark Duffy, Ciaran Smith and Paul Ormsby - were on board the Irish Coast Guard helicopter when it crashed at the Blackrock island on the early hours of March 14.

Officers are meeting with relatives of the three missing crew members. A Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) is also on standby.
