Santa makes an early visit to some very special children

IT IS rapidly approaching his busiest time of the year but that didn't stop Santa Claus from bringing some festive cheer to some very special children.

Christmas came early at Crumlin Children’s Hospital today when Santa complete with his WALK sleigh turned up to bring some early seasonal cheer.

Santa Claus has been taking some time from preparing for Christmas Eve by travelling the country to raise awareness for WALK who promote the abilities of people with intellectual abilities.

As our pictures show, among the youngsters who met Santa today were Gabriel Sirbu (3) from Duleek, Co Meath and Cassie Wall (4) from Clondalkin, Dublin.

Santa promised independent.ie that he has “got almost all of his presents ready for Christmas”, and is now checking his list to see who has been naughty or nice.
