Ryanair passenger hurt by jet exhaust

A PASSENGER boarding a Ryanair flight in Spain was knocked over and injured by the exhaust of another Ryanair jet that had started its engines at an adjacent stand.

Details of the incident, which occurred at Seville airport on October 27, 2010, emerged yesterday. the passenger sustained a broken arm in the fall.

Spanish authorities are investigating.

It is understood that the flight FR-9667 was getting ready to taxi at the time.

Ryanair declined to comment on the incident.
