Runners urged to get on board for airport 5K

Runners have been urged to sign up for the Vhi A Lust for Life 5km race set for Cork Airport this Friday.

This is the second time that Cork Airport will open its doors for this unique event, in conjunction with the Irish Independent.

Hundreds of joggers have signed up for the event and organisers have asked people to register ahead of the deadline for online entries, which is midnight on Wednesday. A Lust For Life ambassador Niall Breslin said: "I'm really looking forward to meeting the people of Cork for the run next Friday night."
