FRANK and fellow surfer 'dudes' Archie, Casey, and Fay, raised a few eyebrows as they caught the waves at Lahinch yesterday.

The muttley crew made history at the surfer's paradise in Co Clare yesterday in Ireland's first-ever dog surfing contest.

Organised by dog trainer Raquel Noboa (31), it raised about €500 for the Guide Dogs for the Blind charity.

"We hope it will take off," Ms Noboa told the Irish Independent.

"It was a fantastic day and it's a great way to get people off the couch," she said.
