RTE presenter Keelin Shanley was on hand to support husband Conor Ferguson at the launch of his new exhibition of photographs of life along Dublin's Grand Canal.
'Along the Enchanted Way' is a series of photographs taken by Ferguson on his phone or camera along the canal on his way to work.
The film-maker's first exhibition took place at The Mart, on Rathmines Road, in Dublin, last night. The exhibition runs until this Sunday.
The exhibition had its genesis in the death of Ferguson's brother from cancer last year.
He was treated on the Patrick Kavanagh ward in St James's Hospital.
Given that writer Patrick Kavanagh loved the canal, Ferguson named the series after the line in Kavanagh's best known poem, 'Raglan Road'. Mr Ferguson told the Irish Independent that he preferred taking photographs of places rather than people, and particularly loves the canal – which he described as a "beautiful stretch of Dublin".
