Ross on leave from Dail for bank report

NEW Independent TD Shane Ross, who made banking reform a central plank of his election campaign, was missing for this week's stress-test announcement -- because he was on holidays.
Mr Ross confirmed to the Irish Independent that he was on leave. Even though the Dail was taking an Easter break in two weeks' time, the Dublin South TD, who also works as a journalist for the 'Sunday Independent', said he had long planned to take this week off.
Thursday's announcement had been flagged for weeks, and Mr Ross's absence raised eyebrows around Leinster House.
