Former Irish rugby star Ronan O'Gara proves he's a big kid at heart as he helps tackle poverty in Haiti.
He is visiting one of Haven's Income Generation Programmes in Ile a Vache and Gonaive. During his time in the country, O'Gara will visit homes that have been upgraded as a result of the charity's '€500 from 500' fundraising campaign.
In Ile a Vache, the Corkman also met women who have taken part in sewing training, and men involved in boat building and maintenance classes. The purpose of these programmes is to facilitate the training of local people and provide them with the skills necessary to get a job.
