RNLI urge care as five rescued
BOAT owners have been urged to properly prepare for sea trips after the rescue of five people when their speedboat broke down.
The alarm was raised just before noon yesterday after their 17ft craft broke down in Killiney Bay after leaving Dun Laoghaire.
Dun Laoghaire's RNLI lifeboat was launched and the stranded vessel was towed back to the harbour.
The RNLI said this was a reminder for skippers to prepare for trips afloat.
