Relief for Luas passengers as Red Line service restored on time for rush hour

Luas passengers were advised this afternoon that the Luas Red Line (The Point/Connolly to Tallaght/Saggart) had been delayed due to a signal failure.
Transdev, the Luas operator, issued the warning at around 3.20pm today.

A spokesperson said: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
The problem was caused by a tram and traffic signal issue.
At around 5pm today, the Red Line service was restored, and Transdev warned that there would be minor delays to be expected for a short time.
