Youth vote to decide outcome of referendum

The country’s youth population is set to decide the outcome of today’s historic Marriage Equality referendum as Yes campaigners expressed fresh concern about the number of undecided voters.
TDs rallying for a Yes vote have encountered widespread voter confusion right up until polls opened this morning.
Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald admitted meeting a sizeable number of people “still considering” while on the canvass last night.
But in his final pitch, the Taoiseach said Ireland has the opportunity to make history.
